AINSWORTH, Neb. – Graze Master Genetics® and Impact Solutions will hold their Inaugural Sale and Educational event starting the evening of Wednesday, November 12 through Thursday, Nov. 13 in Long Pine and Ainsworth, Neb. The event, titled “Graze Master Genetics® – Partners in Profitability Vol. 1” was envisioned by long-time friends and serious cattlemen, Del Ficke of Ficke Cattle Company and Graze Master Genetics and Larry Hafer of Hafer Cattle Company and Impact Solutions. Both men are also leading the Graze Master Genetics Certification Program, an initiative powered by the Graze Master Group that is dedicated to helping livestock producers and all of agriculture be more profitable with the right genetics and most innovative ag practices.
“Finally, a genetic offering that makes sense,” said Ficke about the event. Ficke has consulted across the nation and internationally on farm and ranch profitability. “We are encouraging everyone who wants to make a better living with their cattle herd and their agricultural operation in a common sense way to join us and make history because we’re running out of time to get this right.”
“Our base of Red Angus genetics are the cornerstone of our program,” Hafer explained. “We market bulls and females across the U.S., as well as offer a diverse selection of semen and embryos to our customers through our Impact Sires division of Impact Solutions. The focus has always been on the cow and those real-world cow traits that come from those proven cow families. Fertility, udder quality, soundness, phenotype, and built-in longevity are the basis of everything we do. As we continue to advance that superior animal, we have been focusing on more crossbreeding systems to not only enhance our product but to have our customers benefit from the heterosis that comes with these systems.”
“As we look to the next chapter, we are excited to add foundation Graze Master Genetics as well. These efficient, prolific genetics will help our customers compete in this ever-changing landscape that will help improve the soil and the profitability of those who wish to join in the journey,” Hafer added.
Where both Hafer and Ficke want their vision to manifest is where they have always strived to be – doing better for their own herd, for their families, and for the entire ag industry. Hafer said, “Now it’s time to really ramp up the helping of neighbors through our businesses that are on a mission: the Impact Solutions and Graze Master Genetics® programs. These programs coming together is an opportunity for livestock producers to benefit from improving their genetics with a solutions approach, based on years of development that not only improves the animals that roam your farm or ranch, but also improves the soil beneath them while putting more profitability in those operations.”
“It’s mostly about people,” Ficke said in closing. “It’s about their potential first, and then how that potential can exponentially grow on their farms and ranches. The right cattle genetics is one piece of a much bigger story. The rest of the story, and most important, is about maximizing our journeys while we have time left on earth. Larry and my roads and all our group’s life stories led us to this moment. Now we want to take the power of the Graze Master Group ag solutions network, and combine it with the power of Impact Solutions, and see that power unfold in dreams on the farm and ranch that begin to take shape in their vision for their future.”
